Dilraj Kauris is a Delhi-based artist from India who believes in the power of expression beyond words. Her art is an extension of her emotions, flowing freely onto the canvas with spontaneity and depth. Through abstract expressionism, she explores her subconscious, allowing textures and forms to emerge naturally, creating a dialogue between the seen and the unseen.
Dilraj Kaur was born in New Delhi in 1970. She received her formal training in art as a Drawing teacher from Sarada Ukil School Of Art, New Delhi and later on she did her master of Arts in Drawing & Painting from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. She also worked her skills in painting and sculptures at Triveni Kala Sangam. She is working as an artist at Lalit Kala Artist’s studio, Garhi, Delhi.
She did four solo shows including. “Anant ki Aur” 2019 at Triveni Kala Sangam New Delhi, “Divine Bliss” 2018, “Dil ke Landscape” 2017 at the conventional foyer Habitat Centre, New Delhi and “Art by Dilraj Kaur” at Air Force Officers Mess 2003 at Gorekhpur was her first solo show.
She also participated in many art camps as well as participated in many art festivals and group exhibitions in India.
