Shikha Gupta is an artist with a diploma in fine arts from the NationaleÉcole des Beaux-Arts, Paris, and holds a master’s degree in art therapy and psychology. As an educator, therapist, and organizer, she has a deep connection with nature, which often inspires her work.
She is the founder of the NGO “Udaan Ek Meetha Sapna,” which focuses on “empowering societies through art. “Since 2012, Udaan has impacted the lives of over 5,000 children from marginalized backgrounds, helping many build careers as interior designers, graphic designers, and art teachers.
Shikha has also led numerous art exhibitions in Delhi and Gurugram, showcasing her creative vision and passion for the arts. Currently, she serves as the director of the KalaGram Society, a project of the Gurugram Administration and Municipal Corporation in collaboration with the Haryana government. Her goal is to turn Gurugram into a cultural hub, leaving a lasting legacy for future generations.
In recognition of her dedication to arts and culture over the past two decades, Shikha received the APJ Abdul Kalam Award in 2023. She is a firm believer in the transformative power of art and is devoted to nurturing its expression and exploring its therapeutic potential.
