Mahmood Ahmad was born in 1964 and currently living in Delhi. He has attained BFA (Applied Art) from JamiaMilliaIslamia University, New Delhi, 1992. He has had solo exhibitions at Lokayata Art Gallery, HauzKhas Village, New Delhi, 2005; Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, 2004; Taj Art Gallery, 2002. He has participated in several group exhibitions including Indian Contemporary Mask Exhibition,LalitKala Akademi, New Delhi, 2012; 1st International drawings & graphics prints at Art Gallery, Government College of Art, Chandigarh, 2011; India Russia Contemporary Art Exhibition at Russian Centre of Science & Culture, New Delhi, 2008; Bajaj Monsoon Show,Kamalnayan Art Gallery, 2007; Return to Roots, M F HUSAIN Art Gallery, JMI , New Delhi, 2009; Shridharani Art Gallery, New Delhi, 2008;Lokayata Art Gallery, HauzKhas Village, New Delhi, 2005. Mahmood has received Gold Medal in All India Art Exhibition (Senior Category) at Travancore Art Galleries, New Delhi organised by Agnipath, 2006; Gold Medal in All India Art Exhibition (Senior Category) at Lalit Kala Academy organised by Agnipath, 2005 His works are in collection of Reliance Anil DhirubhaiAmbani Group, Delhi Press Delhi, India Tourism and Development Cooperation, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Philippines etc.
