As a Master in Fine Art from Punjab University a graduate of Fashion Photography and filmmaking from UCLA. She worked passionately to develop paintings/fashion photography/art installations/ video installations/ documentary films, that speak to her and others about the beauty that exists in the underlying human emotions. Her work involves more female subjects; the reason may be because of her being a female. She has closely watched the minute details in which she was groomed and brought up in a religious family. She tries with every finished work to breathe life into the hidden emotions of both Eastern and Western culture so that its designs, ideas, innovations, and lifestyle are displayed on her artworks. The challenge which often is the same in both parts of the world, as with any recreated moment from the past, is to not caricature the moment and instead capture it in a way an ordinary layman understands. Her artwork speaks, not only for her but for people who were long ago silenced in distant cultures of the world.
She has experience in more than 75 art exhibitions. 8 solo photography and painting exhibitions. 2 documentary movies. She has represented India in more than 25 countries as an artist/ Editorial Photographer by participating in various art symposiums, art festivals, and fine art residency programs. She has organized international symposiums and art events, created concepts for beauty pageants as well as taken workshops in still and moving photography over a period of a decade both in India and abroad by associating with Art galleries, organizations, universities auction houses, magazines, etc. Her Documentary movie is showcased in the Miami Art Festival and Rujks Museum Amsterdam. She has curated three international art and sculpture symposiums in India as founder of I ART INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM and STUDIO ART AND APERTURE. She was the brand photographer of Mr. India manhunt international and Mrs. India’s beauty queen associated with Vivanta by Taj. Her created garments were showcased in IIFD fashion week.
