Completed BVA (painting) from Govt. College of Art and Craft, Calcutta, 1979- 1986, received ‘Jr. Fellowship award in Painting, Ministry of Culture, Dept. of HR Development, Govt. of India, 1998-2000. Done ‘Diploma in English Creative Writing’ IGNOU, New Delhi, 2004. Completed Six-month Course in Cinematography, Media & Journalism Dept, Maharaja Agrasen College, DU, 2010. In2014 completed M.A. in Museology, National Museum Institute, Janpath, Delhi and cleared NET exam. Done Painting Conservation at Alwar State Museum, organized by IGNCA and SRAL, Netherlands, 2017- and One-year online study ‘Tangible Things: Discovering History Through Artworks & Artifacts’, Harvard University, 2020. She held 12Solo Exhibitions since 2001 at AIFACS, Lalit Kala Academy (2003 and 2023),Solo Curated by Robinson, at Triveni Art Gallery, 2023, Studio 55, Sundar Nagar, 2014. ‘Nature in Depth’, curated by Keshav Malik, presented by ICCR, 2012, at Taj Palace, Delhi,2011, at Press Club of India, 2009, at Linaarp’s Studio, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, 2009, at Arpana Art Gallery, 2008, at Habitat Centre, Delhi, 2005and more, group shows by WZCC, Chandigarh Museum, Sahitya Kala Parishad, NDMC and AIFACS Annual and many more.
