Nitasha Jaini born in the year 1963 at Punjab. She did MA Fine Art in year 1985 from GNDU, Amritsar; Appreciation Course in year 1985 from National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi India

1995 received the Lalit Kala Akademi, Research Grant, New Delhi and in 1994 award for painting in All India Exhibition of Art organised by Indian Academy of Fine Art. Amritsar.
