Haryana’s Kishore Shankar is captivating audiences with his innovative photo-graphics art showcased at the Gaiety Theatre in Shimla during the 6th International Annual Art Exhibition, organised by Mahsu Art, Shimla. With participation from 57 talented artists across India, this event allows creativity to shine in its many forms.
Kishore’s unique blend of photography and computer graphics, highlighted through his work valued at Rs. 46,800, is turning heads and igniting conversations about the future of visual arts. Roop Chand, Chairman of the National Art Centre in Gurugram, praised Kishore’s latest experimentation, emphasizing that it represents a significant advancement in this emerging art form, equating its importance to painting, sculpture, and traditional graphics. He noted that it takes a special, creative vision to excel in abstract and painterly photography, a skill Kishore possesses.
From an early age, Kishore’s passion for painting led him to Chandigarh College of Art, where he refined his skills under the mentorship of notable artists like Sh. Raj Jain and Mrs. Alka Jain. With over 33 years of experience in painting, photography, and photo-graphics, Kishore has exhibited his work in prestigious galleries both nationally and internationally.
Expressing gratitude, Kishore acknowledged Dr. Bhader Singh, Founder of Mahasu Art, for creating a platform that connects artists with diverse audiences. This is Kishore’s first visit to Shimla for such an exhibition, which features artworks from artists not only from India but also from Sri Lanka and Nepal. The Mahasu Art Society’s initiative at the Gaiety Theatre is truly a celebration of creativity and artistic expression.
