An opportunity to see the work of a master artist whose life and work are testimony to his dedication to the evolution of contemporary art in India. Beginning with a traditional western form of education at College of Fine arts, Kolkata , he travelled, taught, imbibed, experienced multiple disciplinary visual methods in Paris, USA and Africa. He simultaneously developed his own inimitable style of painting. A large body of his work is to be seen in a retrospective at NGMA, Bangalore up until 3rd June ; a small body of work at Gallery Time and Space. Do not miss the show!!
