The past year has seen an upheaval of massive technological and climate change. The introduction of artificial intelligence has brought people dynamically closer in an already hyper-connected world. Words, voices, and information have broken old boundaries, and so has art, becoming an impetus for change.

The works of Lost Fragrance of Infinity invite the audience to experience the cognitive processes in the artist’s response towards the changing global environment. This serendipitous convergence of the show’s title with Moin Mir’s book serves as an enriching experience for our visitors, sparking curiosity to explore the realms of art and literature in unison. The show is focused around multiple themes that evoke a sense of curiosity comprising everything from existential renditions, to art that questions society’s moral compass, addresses ecological concerns, uncanny sense of reality, social self, changing landscape of our cities. It resonates with the aesthetic, social and political concerns of today, and demonstrates how there is a timeless nerve in so many contemporary artworks.
