Welham Old Boys Society (WOBS) cordially invites you for the preview of a group art exhibition ‘C O N F L U E N C E 23’ and celebrate 40 years of inception and commemorate it by bringing together creative individuals from diverse disciplines and backgrounds in their first ever eight day creative program showcasing artworks by school alumni and other creative practitioners in a group exhibition at 7pm onwards on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 at The Stainless Gallery, New Friends Colony, Mathura Road, New Delhi.
‘CONFLUENCE 23’ art exhibition will be on for public view from 11am to 7pm from April 2nd to 8th, 2023 at The Stainless Gallery, New Friends Colony, Mathura Road, New Delhi.
The participants of this exhibition are professional artists, photographers, architects, interior designers, product designers, graphic designers and the selection also includes an educationalist, an art therapist, a dancer and a practicing doctor. Participants are not just limited to Welham Boys School Dehradun, but also envelop other alumni from Welham Girls School Dehradun, Doon School, Lawrence School Sanawar, Daly College Indore, Delhi College of Arts, School of Planning And Architecture Bhopal, NID Ahmedabad, La Salle College of The Arts Singapore, Ēcole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Nantes, Art Academy Amsterdam Netherlands, New York Film Academy L.A. and University Of Edinburgh.
Confluence 23 is a collection of artworks that includes works done by legendary animation film maker late Arnab Chaudhuri, senior architect Mukul Goyal, acclaimed fashion designer Abhishek Gupta, graphic designer Sudeep Chaudhuri, Bangkok based progressive dancer artist Sejal Surendra Sood, Leh Ladakh based photographer Hajra Ahmad, landscape specialist and photographer Kunal Batra and focusing especially on Artist Vibhor Sogani’s practice for an inspirational flow.
