Can You See What I See
June 8 @ 11:00 am - July 2 @ 7:00 pm IST
How do we all perceive our worlds?
Different people experience the same environment in entirely unique ways, shaped by their individual lives and perspectives. In “Can You See What I See?“ 12 artists bring forth their observations, drawn from their daily lives and surroundings, transforming the ordinary into captivating reflections. Delving into the nuanced ways artists perceive and represent the world, the exhibition explores works that convey both the visible and the invisible—the tangible elements of the landscape and the intangible stories beneath the surface.
The theme centres on the idea that observation is not a passive act but an active engagement. Artists don’t just see; they interpret what they see through emotions and interact with the environment, revealing complexity of our experiences. This engagement is evident in each artwork in the exhibition, which features layers of interpretation and expression. Whether through the literal layers of materials used, the conceptual depth conveyed, or the artists’ process of observing and interacting with their surroundings, each piece reflects a thoughtful and dynamic engagement with the world around them.
The exhibition features artists, each with their unique approach to observation. Some share narratives through forms, patterns, and figures, while others study nature, architecture, and human interactions. Their diverse observations present a reality in their works that invites public interpretation.
What do you see in their works?
