Artist of Gurugram Kishore Shanker received ‘राष्ट्रीय कला रत्न सम्मान’ (National Kala Ratna Award) on the occasion of The ‘18th International Art Festival Crayons 2024’ (15-17 November 2024), at Tonk, Rajasthan, organized by Antarang Kala & Education Welfare Society, Tonk (Rajasthan) and Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academy, Jaipur.
This award was given to Gurugram’s artist Kishore Shanker for his uninterrupted creativity and remarkable contribution to the field of Indian contemporary art.
On 17 November 2024, this award was presented to him by Dr. Rajneesh Harsh-Secretary, Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academy, Jaipur, Dr. Hanuman Singh Khareda-Convener, President, Anu Dasot and Minister Pushpendra Jain of Antaranga Kala & Education Welfare Society, Tonk Rajasthan.
Kishore Shanker, a resident of Sector-9, Gurugram, is an alumnus of the Government College of Art, Chandigarh, Founder of ARTinfoINDIA.COM, Children Art Contest, and Director of Shanker Art Foundation, Gurugram.
