Kamal Sharma’s art is an expression of narratives and mythological references. I had the opportunity to see his paintings in a group exhibition at the Visual Art Gallery of India Habitat Centre. His paintings express spirituality and the expansion of human consciousness with bright colours and are impressive. His paintings also reflect creativity in spirituality when he paints narrative characters or ordinary people with musical instruments. In one painting, he created many forms of Ganesha and painted him with modern musical instruments, as well as shown him painting. I have never seen any other artist doing such a depiction. His art is definitely impressive.
