Aparna Anand Singh

Born in New Delhi, Aparna qualified from College of Art and National Museum Delhi. She has worked as a visiting lecturer in the College of ArtDelhi and Shilp Bharti for many years, currently working with DOE, GNCT of Delhi. Aparna’spaintings got selected three times for the 43rd,44th, and 49th National Art Exhibition, by Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi. Participated in many prestigious group shows and art camps of the National level. Aparna has to her credit two All India scholarship awards from AIFACS, College of Art all India. Contemporary Women Artistmeritorious Award and State Teacher’s award by Delhi government. Her works are collected with several private collectors. likes to work in various media, Aparnaportrays fine human emotional depth and spiritual sensitivity through subtle colour applications and strong lines with a juxtaposition of scripts from her own poetry. She resides and works in New Delhi. She has studios in Garhi (Lalit Kala Academy) and Kaladham in Greater Noida.
