Shakti Singh Ahlawat born in year 1967 at Rohtak he is living and working at Rohtak. He did BFA from Government College of Arts, Chandigarh in year 1991 He was awarded The Manjit Bawa Award by the Government of Haryana in the year 2010. He is into mostly portraits and figurative works.portraits done by him are in display in several museums in India.he has done portraits of Dr A.P.J Abdul kalam, Dr.Pranab Mukherjee and Mr. Navin Chandra Ramgoolam (The Prime Minister of Mauritius). He has attended National art festival at Aizwal, Mizoram, organized by Lalit Kala Akademy in 2010. He displays a tendency to learn on the linearity of strokes. Strong with line, he has also produced some fine paintings such as Krishna His paintings are in collection of Rashtrapati Bhawan Museum, New delhi, Govt Museum, Chandigarh, National Gallery of Portraits, Chandigarh, War Museum, Ludhiana, Raj Bhawan Haryana Chandigarh, Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi, Hotel North Park Panchkula, Haryana and with various film artists and many works in private collection in India and abroad.
