Book Launch Artists of India’ Modern & Contemporary
The book ‘Artists of India- Modern & Contemporary Art’, is intended especially for a knowledgeable reading and be a reference material for the students pursuing art.
The Book discusses artworks of 55 eminent and acclaimed contemporary artists and their lives journey in regard to their perception of art, their achievements and contribution to rich cultural art heritage of our country. Fortunately we have representation from Andaman Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chattisgarh, NCR of Delhi, Haryana, Goa, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal. We are also grateful to have Padma Awardees – Padma Vibhushan (1), Padma Bhushan (2) and Padma Shri (7) as part of this book and honoured with other prestigious awards Nationally and Internationally. We are thankful to each and every artist who have joined us in our initiative.
