Terms and Conditions
‘Festival of Democracy 2024’ is Shanker Art Foundation’s 6th National Photography Contest for Senior Citizens, Women (Housewives), Working People (Men or Women), and Students.
Photos must be the individual works of the participants and must not have been previously published in any printed publication.
Shanker Art Foundation will select entries on or before 9 June 2024. Judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entertained regarding this.
Shanker Art Foundation reserves the right to reject/remove any photo whose content contradicts the principles of the Organization or is deemed to be offensive.

Copyright and usage rights :
Participants must be the sole author and owner of the copyright for all the entries they submit, or they must have obtained permission from the copyright holder to submit the entries on their behalf. The photographer retains the copyright to all their entries.
Selected photographs will be exhibited, and the cost of print and frame will be charged by the participant (Not More Than ₹ 500/-) Shanker Art Foundation keeps the right to sell one print of the artwork to cover the exhibition expenses. This means the organization might sell a copy of the piece to help pay for the exhibition. The proceeds from the sale will be used to support the costs of putting on the exhibition. This allows the Shanker Art Foundation to continue showcasing artwork and supporting artists.
Each entrant agrees to participate in related publicity and to the use of their name and entry for advertising, promotion, and publicity of the competition and exhibition without additional compensation.
