The Serendipity Arts Residency 2024 Open Studio

The Serendipity Arts Residency 2024 Open Studio showcases a diverse collection of works created by six artist residents over a three-month residency. This exhibition includes a range of pieces, from installations to immersive performances, reflecting the unique explorations of each artist. The residency program, which began on May 15, selected its artists from a nationwide pool of applicants. The program features five artists and one writer, chosen by a jury comprising researcher and filmmaker Gautam Pemmaraju, contemporary dancer Padmini Chettur, writer and curator Premjish Achari, and visual artist Prajakta Potnis. These artists have explored various forms and practices, from visual arts and lens-based media to new media, resulting in a series of thought-provoking works.
The Open Studio is one of the core highlights of the Serendipity Arts Festival’s programming and will also be showcased at South Asia’s biggest interdisciplinary art festival’s 2024 edition in Panjim, Goa.
