Khula Aasman

“Khula Aasman,” curated by Adwait, is the second edition of Seema Kohli’s introspective exploration of memory, displacement, and familial legacy. Drawing on family archives, oral histories, and material culture, the exhibition reimagines the memory of her ancestral home in Pind Dadan Khan, Pakistan. The showcase spans mixed-media works, video installations, silver gelatin prints, and large paintings. Highlights include the video installation Mirroring the Past, an evocative painting titled Yamuna, and a collaborative phulkari tapestry.
The exhibition bridges personal and collective histories through the lens of longing and belonging, offering a deeply emotional and cultural narrative.
