Bodies of Sky, Bodies of Earth brings together works across terracotta, woodcut, embroidery, sculpture, and painting to explore the idea of the body as an archive of earth, species, and stories. In Kohli’s practice, form is never inert– a terracotta vessel holds the memory of fired soil, an embroidered bird carries echoes of migration, and wooden goddesses become repositories of entire ecosystems. Drawing from ecological, mythological, and spiritual registers, the exhibition unfolds as a meditation on what bodies remember, contain, and transform over time.
