Nature Morte, is presenting “Noil,” the debut solo exhibition in India by German artist Matti Braun. This exhibition showcases his paintings, sculptures, and photographs, all inspired by the connections between different cultures, traditions, and stories.
The exhibition features:
- Paintings on silk with bold colours and abstract designs inspired by traditional fabric-making techniques.
- Glass sculptures that highlight the blending of art and craftsmanship.
- Photographs from a performance inspired by Satyajit Ray’s unrealized film “The Alien.”
There will also be a special presentation, The Vikram Sarabhai Slide Lecture, which explores how art, science, and culture connect through the life of India’s space pioneer, Vikram Sarabhai.
