SUMMARY:Sapiens
DESCRIPTION:This exhibition brings together seventeen accomplished artists whose works explore the many ways in which humans engage with their world\, emotionally\, culturally\, and visually. Spanning figurative\, semi-abstract\, and abstract expressions\, the show highlights diverse artistic languages shaped by personal histories\, regional influences\, and contemporary experiences. \nRanging across acrylics\, oils\, watercolours\, mixed media\, and experimental techniques\, the showcased works offer a medley of textures\, forms\, and narratives. Each artist contributes a unique perspective\, yet together they create a cohesive dialogue on identity\, belonging\, memory\, and movement. \nPresented by IndiGalleria\, this show marks a renewed commitment to hosting physical exhibitions in India and abroad\, a􀅌er a strong presence in digital and international platforms. It sets the stage for a series of upcoming showcases at art fairs\, galleries\, and cultural spaces nationwide. \nThe exhibition invites viewers to pause\, feel\, and connect with art\, with humanity\, and with themselves. \nThis exhibition brings together a diverse group of artists whose works reflect the richness of human expression\, its complexities\, rhythms\, and emotional layers. Sapiens explores how each artist interprets lived experience through their own distinct language of form\, colour\, and movement. \nThe show celebrates individuality while fostering a collective narrative that reveals who we are as creators\, observers\, and inhabitants of an ever-evolving world. \nOrganized by : Shashank Maurya (Founder\, IndiGalleria) \nCurated by : Aakshat Sinha \nCo-curated by : Harmandeep Keerti \nCurator’s Note \nIndiGalleria’s latest showcase brings together seventeen artists whose practices span geographies\, generations\, and visual languages. As a curator\, I see this exhibition as a confluence of stories-each artwork a testament to how humans experience emo􀆟on\, material\, memory\, and movement. Across figurative\, semi-abstract\, and abstract expressions\, these artists reveal their unique vocabularies while engaging in a collective dialogue on what it means to be human. Their works echo lived experiences: the quiet rhythms of nature\, the pulse of ci􀆟es\, the layered complexities of identity\, and the enduring resilience of the human spirit. My role here is to create a frame-one that allows these narratives to breathe\, intersect\, and resonate. Cura􀆟ng\, for me\, is about listening deeply\, connecting threads\, and allowing the artists’ voices to guide the viewer’s journey. This exhibition is an invitation: to pause\, reflect\, and discover the many ways art mirrors our shared existence. \n– Aakshat Sinha \nParticipant Artists
