Photo Credits – Lodovico Colli di Felizzano \nA culmination of a shared vision between two friends – HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur and Noelle Kadar are bringing forth the Jaipur Center for Art (JCA). Nestled amidst the regal grandeur of The City Palace\, JCA will open as a 2\,600 sq ft public exhibition space on 23rd November 2024. \nCurated by Peter Nagy\, A New Way of Seeing\, brings together an impressive lineup of renowned Indian and international contemporary artists\, including Alicja Kwade\, Anish Kapoor\, Dayanita Singh\, Hiroshi Sugimoto\, LN Tallur\, Manjunath Kamath\, Sean Scully\, and Tanya Goel. The exhibition offers a unique lens through which to explore contemporary art\, inviting reflection on how we perceive and interact with the world around us while reinforcing JCA’s mission to position Jaipur as a dynamic global destination for art and cultural exchange. \nThis exhibition will examine how we perceive art and how artists manipulate form and material to challenge and transform our understanding of what we see. Through abstraction\, reflection\, and multiplicity\, these works invite viewers to question their perceptions and engage with art on a deeper level.
