DESCRIPTION:An opportunity to see the work of a master artist whose life and work are testimony to his dedication to the evolution of contemporary art in India. Beginning with a traditional western form of education at College of Fine arts\, Kolkata \, he travelled\, taught\, imbibed\, experienced multiple disciplinary visual methods in Paris\, USA and Africa. He simultaneously developed his own inimitable style of painting. A large body of his work is to be seen in a retrospective at NGMA\, Bangalore up until 3rd June ; a small body of work at Gallery Time and Space. Do not miss the show!!
