VISUAL EXPRESSIONS was organized at “RANGBHOOMI” Open Air Theatre, Sector-29, Gurgaon during Gurugram Kala Utsav on 30-31 March, 2018 which was an initiative of SPEAKING ART FOUNDATION in collaboration with NZCC-Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Haryana Kala Parishad Multi Art Cultural Centre, Kurukshetra to promote art and artists in the region.

During “VISUAL EXPRESSIONS” multiple art activities were organized for different age groups which include On the Spot Painting Competition for school children of Delhi-NCR. Participants were given a theme Save Environment to express their thoughts/feelings through colours.

Another attraction of the event was a painting exhibition by school children from across the country titled CLASSICAL DANCES OF INDIA depicting different moods and mudras.

In the evening on 30th Hari Singh a senior artist from Gurgaon did live painting in front of hundreds of spectators during inaugural Bharat Natyamdance performance by Padmashri& SNA awardee Guru Geeta Chandran & group and left the audience mesmerized.

Along with these activities a Mini Art Fair was organized in which all genre of art were on display.

On second day of the event a Painting Workshop of 25 established contemporary artists was conducted which includes: Amrit Kapoor, B.Jayalakshmi, Chanchal Ganguly, Anu Arora, Harpal Singh, Kishore Shanker, Krishna Karmeshwar, Mahmood Ahmad, Mukesh Kumar, Nandita Richie, Naseem khan, Nawal Kishore, Neeraj Sharma, Padmini Mehta, Ragini Sinha, Rajesh Tanwar, Rashmi Jain, Renuka Sondhi Gulati, Ritu Bhutani, Sangeeta K. Murthy, Shakti Singh, Shambhu Nath Goswami, Sudhanshu Sutar, Sunita Lamba and Sunita Rani.

The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sambit Patra (National Spokes person BJP). It was a unique initiative by Speaking Art Foundation to promote visual art and artists.
