A graduate in home science and a diploma in Fashion designing, Malabika K. Saikia moved to New Delhi in 1995.Now settled in the Millennium city, Gurgaon, she has been pursuing art for sometimes under the tutelage of eminent artist Vijaya Bagai and has a few shows to her credit.
Her paintings reflect her obsession with colour, brightness and vibrancy that accentuate her distinct style. The paintings catch the artist in various moods as she hovers between realistic and the contemporary world of art.
